South Region

The South Region is largely comprised of our Cahaba Basin project in Alabama and non-operated positions in the Black Warrior Basin. Our Cahaba coalbed methane project utilizes conventional vertical drilling rather than our Z-Pinnate® Technology. A typical Cahaba well will intersect 30 to 60 feet of coal across as many as fifteen seams. We have drilled 145 wells and installed over 100 miles of gathering lines at Cahaba. The project realized first gas sales in May 2006. |
