CDX Gas will notify landowners, construction companies, excavators, emergency officials and other underground structure owners/users of the presence of our pipelines on a regular basis. This notification may be by a public meeting, a mailing or a face to face discussion.

If you are a landowner or person who has to perform excavation activities in one of the previous listed areas, you are required by law to notify your respective state´s One-Call Center. To contact your nearest One-Call Center just dial 811 on any telephone. You may contact the nearest One-Call Center by clicking on the links listed below.

Most One-Call Centers require at least 48 business hours notice before you can start to perform any excavation activities. Weekends and legal holidays are not counted in the 48 hour notification requirement.

The purpose of the One-Call notification is to give the owner/operators of underground structures, (i.e. pipelines, electric lines, cable TV, telephone, and water/sewer lines) time to mark the location of their structures.

Excavation activities include excavations, blasting, boring tunneling, backfilling, the removal of above ground structures by explosive or mechanical means and other earthmoving operations.

If you perform any excavation activities and have not notified the One-Call Center, you can be held liable for any damage caused to an underground structure; any damages caused by the loss of use of an underground structure, and possibly held criminally liable.
